A maze hunt

What else can you find in the maze?

It’s fun getting lost in the maze, but to make your maze adventure even better, try and find these:

  1. Dwarf gnomes – how many can you find and what colour are they?
  2. The “Give Up” gate!
  3. “Staff Only” gate.
  4. The Clue. What does it say?
  5. Rest a while at our garden benches, how many are there in the maze?

Your main mission at the maze is to find your way to the fountain and back out again. Then you can see the fantastic view over the whole maze from the lookout tower.

Mini mazes

We’re thrilled to have two colourful tile mazes that were specifically designed exclusively for the Bellingham Maze by world maze authority and designer Adrian Fisher.

These 2 mazes were made to measure by Adrian Fisher who designed them to fit exactly onto the existing areas we had available. They are for people who like a challenge as they are not as easy as you might think. There are plenty of challenges at the Bellingham Maze theme park, from the magic waterfall entrance, to the brain teasing metal and wooden puzzles available to play with in our café - and for sale at our Puzzle Shop – and then of course there’s the actual hedge maze itself.

With the Traffic Lights tile maze you have to step through the colours red, blue, yellow in that strict order from one end of the mini maze to the other.

Mini maze - box of booksThe Rolling Block maze is a different game where you have to roll a block from start to finish. The block is a “box of books” which must be rolled only on its sides and bottom, never on the top or the books will fall out.

These are just 2 of the new “mini mazes” available at the Bellingham Maze. More mini mazes will be installed in coming months.

Aviary

The huge walk-through aviary is another of those freebie extras offered for visitors to the Bellingham Maze.

What birds will I see in the aviary? There are many birds in our huge walk-through aviary. Our contented birds love to breed, so the population is growing all the time.

Look for these birds: King Parrots, Doves, Finches, Pheasants, Cockatiels, Ring Neck Parrots, Rosellas.
