Staff can say 'go and get lost'
Buderim Chronicle, 6 July 2007
Popular Sunshine Coast tourist attraction the Bellingham Maze at Tanawha is expanding.
During the last six months alone they have employed six new staff members. An important pre-requisite for working at the Bellingham Maze is a great sense of humour.
New staff member Courtney Masters said she really enjoyed meeting such a variety of people.
"The best part of the job is I get to tell them all to get lost - but always with a smile," she said.
The entertainment is continually improving and adding value, with a new maze opening, on average, once every year.
In 2004 two mini tile mazes were added, in 2005 a tyre maze was installed and in 2006 a rope maze. There are also plans for a new and different type of maze to be installed in 2008.
Owners Sophy and Wayne Wrangell have some big plans set for the future which include updating the tea house and expanding the car park to accommodate the ever increasing visitor numbers.
